My 5 was totally wiped out by a falling CDR - but it doesnt look any different now because I then managed to replace it - so does that count? (this was the single most difficult thing anyone has ever done by the way which is why mac repairers tend to repalce whole keyboards))

None of my Mac keyboard letters have deteriorated - I got it yesterday, wireless, with my wireless mouse and Mac Mini! Woot!
